Horses have always been my passion and were a significant part of everyday life in the city where I was born. It was common to see them passing through the streets as a means of transportation and leisure. In the surrounding countryside, there were also areas for equestrian training and polo games. I often encountered them in artistic references, whether for their symbolism or narratives of conquests or conflicts, as well as in movies and photography.
I delved into the anatomy of horses and the origins of the game of polo, which captivated me due to the skill and beauty of the horse, as well as the technique that players had to master.
The history of the sport spans over two thousand years and began as cavalry training in Central Asia. Over time, it evolved into a national sport, particularly in the region of Persia. Soon, nobility and royalty adopted this activity as part of their traditions.
