Portrait photography has always been a part of my life since childhood. Whether through my father, who always carried a camera, my curiosity in exploring family photo albums, or being featured in them, this form of imagery also appeared in magazines, works of art, comics, movies, and eventually in my professional practice.
In this series, I explore the connection between the portrait and the power of the gaze. I work with specific colors and shapes that not only highlight the visual presence of the portrayed characters but also emphasize their gaze — that intimate meeting point between the subject and the viewer. The gaze, in this context, becomes a thread that invites reflection on the essence and depth of each individual. The production of this series is currently ongoing.
